  • If the HP UEFI diagnostics detect a persistent inaccuracy, a calibration will be recommended - this EliteBook 640 G9 does not need it, so it was not presented to me.

  • In order to check the battery health on HP laptops, you MUST use the UEFI tool as HP hides the actual heath data from the operating system. The tool can be downloaded here and written to a USB drive, or a secondary partition on the laptop - the choice is yours.

  • Run the HP diagnostics and do the following to access the battery test:

  • Locate Power in the diagnostics

  • Click on Battery and select Run once. This will take approx 2-3 minutes.

  • NOT SHOWN HERE Click on Battery details to review the health data.

**SOLO HP UEFI** Comprobación del estado de la batería

Si los diagnósticos HP UEFI detectan una inexactitud persistente, se recomendará una calibración; esta EliteBook 640 G9 no la necesita, por lo que no me la mostraron.

Para comprobar el estado de la batería en las computadoras portátiles HP, DEBE utilizar la herramienta UEFI, ya que HP oculta los datos de estado reales del sistema operativo. La herramienta se puede descargar aquí y escribir en una unidad USB o en una partición secundaria de la computadora portátil; la elección es suya.

Ejecuta los diagnósticos HP y haz lo siguiente para acceder a la prueba de batería:

Busca Energía en los diagnósticos

Haz clic en Batería y selecciona Ejecutar una vez. Esto tardará aproximadamente entre 2 y 3 minutos.
