  • Video card remains.

  • Be sure to apply a new layer of thermal paste to the face of the graphics processor (shown in red).

  • We have a thermal paste guide that makes reapplying thermal compound simple.

  • Before reattaching your video card heat sink, use the flat end of a spudger to re-spread the thermal compound over the face of both video RAM chips (shown in green).

  • If you are upgrading to the 256MB ATI Radeon HD 2600XT (Apple P/N 661-4436), you will need more thermal compound (i.e. K5 Pro) for the two extra RAM chips (shown in green). You can find the GPU upgrade guide here: GPU Upgrade for 20" iMac (mid 2007))

Veillez à appliquer une nouvelle couche de pâte thermique sur la face du processeur graphique (en rouge).

Nous disposons d'un tuto de pose de pâte thermique qui simplifie l'application de la nouvelle couche de pâte.

Avant de refixer le dissipateur thermique de votre carte graphique, utilisez l'extrémité plate d'une spatule pour étaler la nouvelle couche de pâte thermique sur la face des deux puces RAM vidéo (en vert).

Si vous upgradez et passez à la carte ATI Radeon HD 2600XT de 256 Mo (Apple P/N 661-4436), vous aurez besoin de plus de pâte thermique (c'est-à-dire K5 Pro) pour les deux puces RAM supplémentaires (indiquées en vert). Vous trouverez le tuto pour upgrader le GPU d'un iMac 20" mi-2020 ici.
