  • 1 × Multi-size spoke wrenchThe one that ended up working for the vanmoof nipples was the one with the blue handle
  • 1 × Zip Ties
  • 1 × Nipple Driver(optionally you can instead use a small flat head screw driver. This is what I did)
  • 1 × Digital Caliperdoesn't need to be digital. I picked up a $7 analog one from Home Depot
  • 1 × Measuring Tapepreferably metric if you have it. I made do with an imperial one though.
  • 1 × Cable Housing CuttersThese would be very nice to have. I instead used regular wire cutting pliers because I already owned them. It was very difficult to get the housing cut without it fraying. I did do it though so its possible
  • 1 × Tire Leversnot necessary. You can remove the tire without them (google it) but its harder and these are useful to have in your emergency kit anyways. I would recommend getting some
  • 1 × Chain ToolYou need this if you plan on changing the number of teeth on the rear sprocket by more than 2 teeth
  • 1 × white paint pen
  • 4 × shifter cable housing guide
  • 1 × Shifter Cable Housingdepending on what hub you chose and what shifting set up you chose, you might not need this or need something slightly different
  • 1 × Enviolo CVP Internally Geared Hub: City 36 Hole Disc BrakeYou do not need this exact hub. This is just what I used. Check the article for more details on picking a hub
  • 1 × Enviolo twist shifterDepends on your hub set up. figure out what works for your set up. This is what I used
  • 1 × Enviolo Manual CVP Hub Interface: CT%2FCO%2FTRdepends on your hub set up. figure out what works for your set up. This is what I used
  • 1 × Enviolo CVP Standard Mounting Hardware Kit: CT CO TRdepends on your hub set up. figure out what works for your set up. This is what I used
  • 1 × Enviolo Sprocket: 16 Tooth, 3/32", Flat, Nickel Plated CogDepends on your set up and what gear ratio range you want. (Read more about it in the article) 16T is what I felt comfortable at.
  • 2 × FW4671 Shimano Dura-Ace CS-7800 Ultegra CS-6600 10-Speed Low SpacerThis is only needed if you are using the 16T cog on the enviolo hub. Otherwise the mounting hardware comes with the correct spacers
  • 36 × DT Swiss Champion 14 Gauge Black Spokes - 2.0 x 254 mmThis is the length I used but mine were slightly short so get 1-2mm longer if you are using the exact same hub and rim
  • 1 × DT SWISS BLACK 14G 12MM BRASS NIPPLEget correct gauge nipple for the spokes you bought. These are 14 G to match the 14 gauge spokes
  • 1 × linseed oilYou can find it at Home Depot or Lowes. Used for lubrication when building the wheel
