Please never use a video guide when a step by step guide could exist. Video guides are universally terrible.

Where is the step by step (non video) picture slide guide? Videos are not a good repair guide.

I just completed the port repair, but I bought my replacement part off ebay. My phone will now turn on and the port works fine, but the phone powers off every 2 minutes and the haptic feedback doesn't work. I believe this is because I am using a non-Apple part and my phone refuses to recognize it. Any suggestions on how to override this?
