Unscrew the two 3mm screws from both sides of the barrel clip with a 3.0 flathead screwdriver to remove the clip from the barrel.

Set the two screws and barrel clip aside for reassembly at a later point.

Clip is prone to pop off from the body due to the weight of the spring. Equally loosen each screw little by little to prevent this.

Inspect clip to see if it just needs to be realigned or replaced completely.

If you are replacing the barrel clip, place the old component to the side. Carefully align the new barrel clip with the proper screw holes, and use the screwdriver to screw the two 3mm screws into to body.
