First, be sure you really want to make this modification to your device because - again - this voids your warranty!

Make sure that all your personal stuff like contacts, calendars and things like that are stored somewhere (simply synchronise your accounts on the phone) and make a backup if you wish so (there are some programs around to accomplish this).
