Fill the water tank with a half water-half vinegar solution.

Do not use straight vinegar. It can damage the machine's parts due to the acidity.

Run the water-vinegar solution through the machine until you have emptied the tank.

Run clean water through the machine. You may have to repeat this step several times to get all of the water-vinegar solution out of the pipes.
