The LCD screen is attached to the piece of the hood with the glass shield.

Do not remove the small ribbon wire. While the LCD has two ribbon cables, only the larger one can be safely disconnected.

To release the LCD, locate the two mounting slots, and push the sloped slides inward to release the LCD from its slots.
