Now the last steps. We will put some new thermal paste on the soldered CPU and GPU.

First remove the 4 screws of the socket.

remove the heatsink, be carefull for the little power socket attached at the motherboard, running to the cooling fan.

Clean off the old thermal paste with some paper tissue and Q tips and some alcohol.

Apply a small drop of thermal paste on each chip. The goal is to keep the the thermal paste inside the green lines. After applying the small drop test fit the heatsink and see if you put on to much. If you did remove the extra with a Q tip and alcohol. It will only make the job more easy next time
