Repairing the Proline Guitar Strap Lock Spring

To take apart the strap lock, take the black ball cap and turn it counterclockwise.

After you unscrew the ball cap, pull on the other side of the locking mechanism (opposite to the ball cap) to remove the spring and bar.

Unlock your strap lock from the guitar before attempting this step.
