The silver housing on the sides should be giving away. I started at the bottom of the device and used my finger to try around the device and slowly lift away the clips. Be gentle as this housing is very delicate. No connectors are attached; although make sure you don’t pull away some wire running along the right side of the device. Force required.

I lifted up the motherboard up with the ifixit pry tool here. No much force was needed, it pops up easily. I disconnected both the button-like wire connectors the runs down the side of the device.
