Cut two 18 inch long pieces of 3/4 inch steel angle. The angles mount inside the door and are secured with fender washers and 10-32 machine screws. Then reassemble the door, slide it back on the hinges, and you're done!

An expensive stove with almost useless oven is fairly easy to fix! The front panel still gets pretty hot, but not so hot that you're burned if you touch it. The oven gets to temperature and the cooking person who uses recipes no longer complains about super-long cooking times.
