Gently pull the leads free from the terminals. If they do not easily separate from the terminals, repeat Step 4.

Now any solar panel of appropriate Voltage rating can be used to charge the device by soldering the wire leads to the new panel. Try to find a panel with similar specifications to avoid overloading the battery.
