Place a reheated iOpener on the top edge of the iPad to soften the adhesive holding the GPS antenna to the rear case.

The GPS antenna is essentially a sticker covering the bottom of the right cellular data antenna's compartment. As you work to pry it out in the following steps, there is a good chance that it will tear and break. If you are attempting to salvage the antenna, use plenty of heat and be very careful.
