The adhesive holding the display is not very strong, but squirting a little isopropyl in the gap around the edges can help release it. With your fingers on the back of the frame, press the display in with your thumbs.

Starting from the corners and working around the edges until it falls out seems to be the best method I've found. Avoid flexing the frame too much, as it can crack if you aren't careful.

Once the display is separated from the frame, use isopropyl alcohol to clean any remaining adhesive residue from inside the frame.
