Inside the dishwasher, release the heating element from its mounting brackets.

Guide the terminals carefully through the holes at the back of the dishwasher while pulling out the element.

Install the new heater by reversing the removal process.

Insert the new heating element, making sure its terminals go through the designated holes.

Secure the heating element with the mounting brackets inside the dishwasher.
