Rubber grommets secure the top and bottom of both speakers.

Lift the speakers straight up and off their posts to remove them.

During reassembly:

Make sure both speakers have grommets. If they don't, transfer the grommets from the original speakers to the replacements.

Align the grommets over their screw posts and press down gently to secure the speakers in place.

The speaker labelled R will go on your left‑hand side since the laptop is laying upside down.
