Raise the hood of your 4Runner.

Find the back of the headlight assembly.

Move the battery or air filter housing, depending on what side you're replacing, to access the bulb more easily.

If you're working on the battery side you’ll have to remove the battery. Remember to disconnect the negative terminal first and handle the battery carefully to avoid any electrical hazards.
