To remove the motor, remove the drive belt as shown elsewhere on this site (search 'a701a gearbox' and follow steps 1-5)

Turn the machine up side down and remove the electric cable by undoing the four screws with red arrows (and two more when the cover is removed). Note the terminals are labled L for live (red or brown wire) and N for neutral (blue or black wire) so they can be reassembled correctly,

Undo the four small screws at each corner of the black plastic cover (one is labelled with blue arrow.)
