With the laptop on its back, remove the rubber feet at the side closest to the screen hinges. The feet closer to the front of the laptop do not need to be removed. A sharp blade or similar tool, used in between the feet and laptop case during removal, may help keep the rubber feet adhesive from separating from the rubber feet themselves.

Under the rubber feet, remove the two M2.5 screws.

Starting from the front edge of the case and working your way around the sides, use an opening tool to remove the bottom plate of the laptop case. With the screws removed, it is only held in place with plastic clips which will release with a small amount of opening pressure.

Once the bottom plate of the case is free of the plastic retaining clips, put it aside.
