Slide the lock mechanism all the way to the left. Now the solar panel is no longer locked in place.

Remove the solar panel, by lifting it on the top part. You can use a suction cup or carefully tilt the device when it's in an upright position.

Be mindful on the wire connecting the solar panel to the rest of the device.
