Turn over the keyboard and remove the cover to the battery compartment by lifting the tab of the battery cover up and off.

You can use your fingernail to do this or a wedging tool to help remove the battery cover.

Take the faulty battery out of the battery compartment by pushing the battery towards the spring and lifting the other end of the battery out of the compartment.

When inserting the new battery make sure the flat side goes against the spring and the studded side goes against the flat side.
