This step shows how to create an initial gap using an opening pick.

Pull up on the suction handle with strong, steady force to create a gap between the screen and frame.

If you can't insert the pick, heat the edge and try again. You may need to repeat the process multiple times before the adhesive loosens enough to insert the pick.

Insert the tip of an opening pick into the gap.

Don't insert the pick more than 2 mm, or you may damage the screen.
