The Nonic glass, with its slight bulge near the top, originated in the 20th century. It prevents stacking glasses too closely and minimizes chipping.

While Nonic Glasses are perfect for enhancing a wide range of beer styles, it's best suited for beers that do not need to be drank carbonated, or need to be cold.
