Make sure the laptop is unplugged and you are in a clean, static free area with plenty of room to work.

Keep a notepad (or cardboard sheets) nearby to help keep track of what screws you take out and their placement.

You must make sure you place them back correctly as you can damage components with the wrong size screw. I would recommend taking a picture and making notes.
