Flip the panel over.

Peel the button pad off of the panel and set it aside.

The pad is secured with a strong adhesive. If there is remaining glue on the panel, it should be strong enough to hold the new button pad. In case the new button pad doesn't adhere properly, you can use a thin double-sided tape like Tesa tape to help secure it.
