Target the connectors of the BIOS chip with a heat gun.

Handle the heat gun with care. The heat gun will be at 344 degrees Celsius or 650 degrees Fahrenheit.

Circle the BIOS chip slowly so each connector heats up simultaneously. Heating one spot for too long can damage the system board.

Use the rubber handle tweezers, to prevent the BIOS chip from being blown off the system board.

This step will take some time. Be patient. You may apply flux on the connectors to help melt the solder.
