The EVA glue was removed by scraping using a plastic spudger and then pulling the glue off using tweezers.

Be careful while scraping the glue. It is possible to poke yourself with the spudger. Always scrape away from your fingers!

Dispose of the glue residue from the scraping. Keep away from children and pets.

This is not the most efficient way to remove the glue. It took 20 minutes of scraping. One capacitor also came off while removing the glue.

Alternative chemical methods may be more useful in this step, but they may be difficult to obtain locally and not suitable for home use.
