Separate the adhesive

Take care not to puncture or bend the battery—it can leak dangerous chemicals and/or catch fire.

The battery is lightly adhered to a frame.

Insert the flat end of a spudger under the left edge of the battery.

Twist the spudger to separate the adhesive enough to grip the battery with your fingers.
