Pull the lens assembly toward the front of the camera until it slides out of its alignment peg.

Rotate the left side of the lens assembly up to separate the capacitor from its slot in the frame.

If you're having trouble, try gently rocking the lens assembly side-to-side to flex the plastic in the frame.

During reassembly, make sure the capacitor is in its slot before realigning the lens assembly on its peg.
