The dryer door can be attached to open from the right or left side of the dryer. It's possible your replacement door will not be set up with the hinges on the correct side for your dryer's current setup.

While facing the dryer opening, look for the holes where the hinges attach on the dryer and note what side they're on. In this photo they are on the left side of the opening.

Hold the replacement door upright with the inside facing you and note what side the hinges are on. In this photo they are on the left.

If the hinges are on the same side of both the dryer and the replacement door, as shown in these photos, the replacement door's orientation will need to be reversed.

If they are on the opposite side, the door is already oriented correctly and you can skip ahead to step 10.
