Follow this step to install your MagSafe port.

The screws will be drawn toward the magnet in the port. You may need to use angled tweezers to hold the screws in place while tightening them.

Insert the port and use a 3IP Torx plus screwdriver to partially tighten the two 2.7 mm‑long screws that secure the port's left edge.

Properly align the port and fully tighten its screws.

You can plug your charger in and use it to align the port, but make sure it's not plugged into power.

Put the wedge into place on top of the MagSafe port and use a 5IP Torx Plus screwdriver to partially tighten the two 3.3 mm‑long screws.

Push the wedge under the lip of the frame and fully tighten its screws.
