Gently lift the SSD until its bottom edge clears the speaker.

Only pull the SSD up enough to clear the spekaer—extreme angles can damage the SSD and its socket.

Pull the SSD straight out of its socket and remove it.

During reassembly, insert the SSD at a slight downward angle into its socket before pushing it in completely.
