Light adhesive secures the fingerprint sensor to the frame.

Insert the point of a spudger between the left edge of the fingerprint sensor and the frame.

Pry the fingerprint sensor up and remove it.

During reassembly:

If your new fingerprint sensor has adhesive pre-installed, remove any plastic liners.

Otherwise, apply your custom-cut adhesive or thin double-sided tape evenly along the bottom of the new fingerprint sensor, making sure not to cover the lens.

Push the fingerprint sensor firmly into its recess to secure it.
