Using a #2 Philips screwdriver, remove the four screws (indicated in yellow, two on each side) attaching the powertrain/motor to the mixer body.

While remove the last screw, take care to support the motor as it is no longer connected to the mixer body and could damage the Speed/Motor Control Assembly circuit board underneath
