Align the holes on the CPU section of the heat sink with the pins on the backing plate.

Set the heat sink straight down on the CPU, GPU, and VRAM chips.

Do not move the heat sink around once it contacts the CPU. The thermal paste will adhere the CPU to the heat sink and moving it around can bend the CPU pins.
