Note the orientation of the earpiece speaker. During reassembly it must be reinserted the same way or the speaker won't work.

Insert the pointed end of a spudger between the earpiece speaker and its housing

Pry up with the spudger to dislodge the speaker.

A small amount of adhesive secures the speaker.

Use your fingers or tweezers to remove the speaker.

Before reinserting the speaker, ensure that the speaker's mesh is in its recess and that the raised ends of the speaker's contacts are on the right.
