Gently pry the charging port assembly's ribbon cable starting at the top (marked in blue)

Slowly peel the ribbon cable downward until the charging port assembly is no longer adhered to the housing

Remove the assembly and set it aside

Be careful not to tear the antennae when pulling the charging assembly out of the phone
