Use a pair of tweezers to grip the lock button bracket.

Insert a halberd spudger or opening pick between the lock button bracket and the button control cable.

Peel the button control cable up and off of the pegs on the lock button bracket.

Upon reassembly, apply Tesa tape to reattach the volume buttons and lock button bracket to the button control cable.
