Remove the headphone jack.

During reassembly, transfer the ambient light sensor gasket over to the new headphone jack cable.

Compare your new replacement part to the original part—you may need to transfer remaining components or remove adhesive backings from the new part before you install it.

Follow this guide if you are using a pre-cut adhesive card to attach the new headphone jack cable to the rear case.
