Pull the lever that is broken.

Start with the right side first as the left is hooked in.

Pull the lever from the drill.

Tilt the lever down before removing the left side.

When the lever is tilted down, you can pull the lever out of the drill.

The lever may get stuck on the left side, but ensure to fully tilt the lever down.

If the lever is snapped, remove it one side at a time with an adjustable wrench.
