Use a rubber mallet to tap the bellows up and off of the top of the protective pipe.

Tap around the entire circumference of the bellows, pulling one edge up at a time.

During reassembly, use the rubber mallet to tap the bellows into place onto the lip on the pipe.

Once loose, pull the bellows off of the lip on the protective pipe.

Remove the bellows.
