Next we will remove the grey pan protecting the internal components from the stove.

There are 6 (sometimes only 4) screws holding the pan in place. Using a standard Phillips screwdriver remove each one.

Have someone support the pan so it doesn't fall. If no one else is around put something soft under it so it doesn't get damaged when it falls.

If the pan does not come out easily that is ok. MAKING SURE THE POWER IS DISCONNECTED reach your fingers into the gap between the fan and the grey pan and pull down with medium strength. As long as all the screws are removed there is nothing to be worried about.
