Charged capacitors can pose an electrocution danger. Be sure to discharge the capacitor before you begin working on the device.

To discharge the capacitor shorten the two highlighted solder joints between the flash and capacitor with a big screwdriver or a paper clip. Make sure you do not touch any electronic parts except the two joints.
