Gently free the wire from the power cord casing with a spudger.

The cable may be too tight to pull out from the power cord casing. If you struggle to pull the cable out, use the pointed end of a spudger to free the cable from the power cord casing.

Pull the ACLI cable out from the power cord casing with your hands.

Pull the entire ACLI cable out of the device.

During reassembly, do not use a metal spudger to push the cable back into the power cord casing. You might break the cable’s insulation when applying force to the cable with a metal spudger.
