Wipe the PX-625 mercury battery with a clean cloth, so that there are no unnecessary fingerprints on the battery.

Place the mercury battery in the slot with the yellow ribbon.

Make sure to place it in the right side! If it is facing the wrong direction, the shutter will be locked and the meter needle will not move to the battery check zone.

Make sure not to leave fingerprints on the battery. It may cause corrosion to the camera's electric contact.
