Wear gloves or be careful when handling the blade.

Remove the bolt and friction washer, and remove the blade.

Use a new bolt and washer when replacing the blade.

If the large cylindrical blade adapter falls off the spindle, check to make sure the key is correctly positioned inside the adapter, and then align the key with the notch on the spindle when installing it.
