Button thoughts: a lot of the switches and buttons available in tandem with this controller have a very specific amount of travel, or take a certain amount of force to toggle. There was probably a lot of thought put into the way that each of these buttons (particularly the A and B buttons) click.

The action on all of the buttons is very tactile. There are no rubber gaskets to dampen any of the switches—even the ones on the D-pad!

The A and B buttons have the least resistance, and are the only buttons that do not press directly onto a switch on the motherboard.
