Disconnect the battery and disassemble the connector

Carefully disconnect the battery from the mainboard micro socket.

Cut the yellow plastic cover, try to cut if as half circle and KEEP it for later use.

The connector is soldered to the battery, use a small slot head screw driver to break the soldering slowly.
