Now with the magazine facing downward take a large punch or similar tool and begin hammering the core of the magazine out of the shell.

When you are about half way done the bb follower and spring should be exposed. Beware the spring might shoot out.

Either way continue hammering the inner section out until it is free of the outer shell.
